After everything every single person living in Puerto Rico is going through, it's refreshing to see a weekend so full of activities that promote local economy and a way to free our minds from the every day chaos we're living in since Hurricane María hit us. I wrote a little bit about how I'be been coping and the lessons I've learned after it here

So here's a list of activities happening in San Juan this weekend that I think you'll love. Hope you have the time to visit. And if you see me, please come and say hi! :)

Santurce Yogi

lote 23 yoga

As I said in my last post, I have been practicing yoga as a way to be more zen in the middle of this unfortunate situation we are going through in Puerto Rico. These classes have slowly but surely become part of my Sunday routines! This iniciative by El Estudio en Ciudadela gathers teachers from around the Island to offer community classes every sunday at Lote 23.

Directions: Lote 231552 Ave. Ponce de León (Parada 23) Santurce, Puerto Rico 00909 (Google Maps)

Schedule: These free classes happen every single Sunday in Lote 23 at 9AM! My tip would be to arrive around 8:30AM just so you can find a shaded spot. The sun can get a little strong during your practice.
